WEEK 7 - EXPLORA PROJECT SEMINAR
From 25 to 27 October 2021

Explora Project, an agency specializing in adventure travel and expeditions to the 4 corners of the planet and in all environments, came to spend 3 days at Chalet Nomad.

After the triumphal arrival of the 10 great champions by bike from Annecy, the stay begins with a brunch on the terrace, under an unexpected sun at the end of October.

Then the stay continues with a well-paced program, alternating between time for reflection in teams, brainstorming, "low carbon" workshop and moments of relaxation.

Numerous  , passionate, united, sporty and greedy, the 22 members of the team  Explora Project shattered Chalet Nomad's records for this first season!

To strengthen ties, welcome new ones, and determine the objectives for the year, we wanted to entrust all the logistics to Chalet Nomad. It was what we wanted to concentrate on the essentials.

Our seminar at Chalet Nomad in the beautiful fairground was a real natural break, an ideal setting for working without feeling like it! All the comforts (and more!), And a caring little fairy Inès! Everyone wanted to stay when it was time to leave

An atmosphere at the top, a chalet under the more than pleasant sun surrounded by superb mountains and the people met who seem to be your roommates for a long time so the agreement is good! This is the Chalet Nomad which lives to the rhythm of the climbing sessions: a dose of fun every day

You channel your hatred and you redo the pitch !!

I had never climbed a cliff before, but I know all the videos that exist by heart.

The 3 great guides

Taking 8 funny guys to Pierra Menta and bringing them back alive, it was intense, we wouldn't do that every day, but it was magical to spend a few days in this good atmosphere.

YOU  MAKE THE PITCH AGAIN!

From Lyon, Geneva, Paris, Brittany, Cannes, and even from Belgium, 15 climbers disembarked at Chalet Nomad on October 10.

Of all ages and all professions, our climbers have worked (a little), climbed (a lot), watched Notes From the Wall, all together reached the top of the Pierra Menta, tasted a fondue above the Chalet, sweated in the sauna while drinking tea.

Thanks to our 3 guides, Pierre Idriss, Julien and Quentin, the group has made immense progress in climbing, and the daily sessions at the Beaufort Wall, at Nova or even at Entre roche have united the promotion well.

One day I will go to Tahiti, it is there that I will live my best life. For now, I'm taking my team to Chalet Nomad and it's already not bad: we had a good laugh and worked well!

Pauline

We needed to lay the foundations of our team from the start, and  going to the mountains was the best way to aim high!

Joel

I no longer thought I would be able to climb 1000 meters of vertical drop, thanks to our team hike I realize that I can!

A GOOD BOL OF AIR FOR A TEAM

Astrid, Pauline and the 6 new recruits of Tom and Josette , the first network of intergenerational nurseries , did us the honor of choosing Chalet Nomad for their first team seminar

A very dense week, between work sessions and team building,  karaoke from the 80s to 2021, lunch in the sun (or almost), trail in the rain and sauna sessions, tartiflette & poiriflette evenings, farm visit and Beaufort tasting, hike to the North Pole,  code names ..

This beautiful, smiling and dynamic team set out again in full swing to develop wonderful intergenerational nurseries in nursing homes throughout France!

Work & Climb. This week did me good, I worked well by getting up 2 hours earlier than usual to be able to enjoy the mountains!

Valentine

A very first week of teleworking in the mountains: I worked efficiently in a calm environment, without braiding with good coffee breaks in the sun. Ideal.

MYTILES AND CLIMBING

Our two climbers of the week had the right to a private lesson with François Hivert and dream conditions.

During this time at the chalet, PA was working at his now appointed post, on the deckchair in the sun, Valentin was working and picking mushrooms in his spare time, and Inès and Marie Paule harvested 18 kilos of blueberries (we won't tell you where! ) to make all kinds of pies, jams and donuts!

PA

After only one week of existence, the Nomad chalet directly integrates the list of my favorite colivings. It is therefore natural that I will be back in a month for new adventures!

Emma

I couldn't run because of my ankle but I worked hard from the mezzanine and took advantage of the view from the chalet!

My wife gave me a Work & Trail week for my birthday, it was great:  I had exactly  need this:  take a step back from my business and be calm to set my goals, while running every day!

INAUGURATION OF CHALET NOMAD

The very first season of Chalet Nomad  started with our first trail course.

On the program: 3 hours of trail running and 1200D + from the 1 st day to "get to know" each other, 2 to 4 hours of racing every day of the week, and a full day on Saturday!

With François Hivert our great mountain guide  , our 3 nomad trailers have learned to keep their minds up and to "let go of the horses" downhill under a beautiful late summer sun!

The rest of the time, everyone managed their work program efficiently, with "picking" interludes, philosophical debates, board games and meals in the sun.
